We want your security, not your data.
For us, security doesn't stop where the siren turns on. For us, this also means that your data is safe with us: all data transfers between the app, our cloud and Qbox are encrypted throughout and our operational servers are located in Germany. We also rely on Germany for databases and data backup with additional redundancy in Switzerland.
No port shares are required to operate the Qbox and there are no incoming connections to your network. Communication takes place exclusively via an outgoing, encrypted connection that the Qbox establishes to our cloud.
Coqon only processes customer data that is absolutely necessary for the reliable and secure operation of Coqon. Coqon does not evaluate or even pass on data for marketing purposes. We also only receive diagnostic data or access to your Coqon system if you send us this data via a support request or activate remote maintenance. We only use our own employees for support.
No hidden costs.
The operation of the Qbox and the associated use of the Coqon Cloud and the Coqon App are and remain unrestricted and free of charge.
For the use of additional services such as mobile phone use, extended data backup, video analysis and the use of certain third-party products, costs may arise that we display transparently in the form of one-time or recurring licenses. All services can be cancelled at any time on the following billing date.

Coqon is a brand of SMaBiT GmbH, a family-owned company formed in 2018 from the spin-off of the Bitron Video Smart Home division of the Italian Urmet Group. SMaBiT is headquartered in Berlin, Germany with additional offices in Turin, Italy and Havana, Cuba.
SMaBiT has its own hardware and software development team as well as a test laboratory for electrical and electromagnetic tests. The close in-house cooperation between development, support, marketing and sales enables an efficient and customer-oriented response to new requirements and challenges.
All core technologies and the main components of Coqon are based on own development. Deep knowledge of our products and control over their life cycle allows us to ensure the function and safety of our products in the long term and through continuous updates.
